Why should we have a minimum order? 1000?

We are a fragrance manufacturer from China. We hope to find a long-term cooperation of fragrance products distributors. Our positioning is to help our customers create their own fragrance brand, scented candles, aromatherapy diffusers, candle containers and so on. We don't support small workshop production, and products with less than 200 pieces can not be produced on the production line.

We understand that our customers need a small order quantity in order to test the market. However, in the large wax filling equipment production line, the minimum order quantity is 1000, and the equipment has been produced before the heat engine. In this case, not to mention the profit, the cost of the machine is very high. How much profit is left to sell later?
